It’s such a shame that those of us who are cared for in this hospital fail to express their thanks to the caring, dedicated and overworked nurses and the allied health staff who look after them and help them to recover. A big thank you to the nurses on the stroke ward who made such an effort to look after me and other patients, especially seeing that they had to cope with a serious COVID outbreak throughout the hospital which saw so many of them taking extra shifts. All heroes!
- Jan Trinder Added September 25, 2023★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Absolutely disgusted with lack of care .Husband spent two weeks for first week unable to mobilise on own. No personal care attended I showered him every visit (2nd daily) found used towels still in bathroom each time I attended him. Bloody sheet left on bed over weekend. No information offered on his progress and wanted to discharge him before he could walk out of his room without collapsing. Irefused to take him home until mobilising.
